IRIS GPR Systems

The IRIS and IRIS-P
are advanced ground penetrating radar based systems.
They were developed for use with all of Penetradar's
non-contacting (air-coupled) and contacting antennas, and with the
selection of the required antenna and software, the IRIS or IRIS-P
become an application specific tool for:
-
Highway Pavement & Bridge Decks
-
Tunnels
-
Concrete and Masonry
Walls
-
Concrete Inspection
-
Depth of Reinforcing Steel
-
Parking Garages & Ramps
-
Underground Storage Tanks (UST's)
-
Utility Lines
-
Detection of Rebar and
Electrical Conduit
-
Detection of Buried Foundations
-
Military (Landmine/IED)
and more...
IRIS
- Designed
for use at speeds of 60+MPH (100KM/H) the IRIS "sees"
through asphalt and concrete pavement, and bridge deck
or tunnel structures, acquiring and storing digitized radar data on
its internal hard disk
in real-time for
subsequent processing and display. Signal analysis is automatic or
computer assisted for manual analysis. The IRIS produces numerical and
graphical data outputs that are easily understood and hardcopy mappings of
bridge deck deterioration and pavement thickness profiles.
The IRIS can be configured with up to four antennas for full lane coverage and is typically installed
onto a vehicle.
IRIS-P - Designed as a lower cost, single channel GPR system, the
IRIS-P is a stand alone unit for site surveys. It is enclosed in a
ruggedized carrying case for mobility and includes a high visibility,
sunlight readable, touchscreen LCD.
