RDP Software

The RDP software was developed for GPR bridge and pavement data analysis. This software utilizes data files collected with the RDA software and operates automatically with little or no user expertise. The RDP software consists of two applications - Bridgepro and PavePro. BridgePro was developed for bridge deck data analysis, and includes software for measurement of asphalt layer thickness, concrete cover over the top reinforcing steel, and for detection of delamination in concrete. PavePro is a pavement analysis software application which can be used to identify pavement structure and for measurement of pavement layer thickness. Both the BridgePro and PavePro software are equipped with advanced signal processing features including clutter cancellation, surface echo decorrelation and digital filtering. Penetradar’s patented "Clutter Cancellation" feature produces the highest quality signal available in any GPR system. This is achieved by eliminating the coherent baseline noise (clutter) from the radar signal resulting in improved target echo detection and measurement. The surface echo decorrelation function removes the strong surface reflections from the
radar data using a least-mean-square algorithm thereby improving signal detection and measurement of thin layers. The digital filtering function provides further signal enhancement by reducing unwanted high and low frequency noise.
